St Mary's Wallington
The nave is the earliest part of the church and dates from C14. The tower and the nave windows are C15. George Orwell and his wife Eileen O'Shaughnessy were married here 9th of June 1936 in the presence of eight guests. The pair lived at a cottage in the village 1936-40. Walled pond, Wallington
I have not been able to find any information about this, but it looks to be a spring rising in a circular walled enclosure, with a stream running out of it. It is in a small wood with a picnic table and benches. It is shown on the 1877 1:2500 map and captioned 'W' for Well on the 1898 edition.
