Cottages, Station Road, Ashwell
There are three pairs of cottages here, 42 to 52 (odds), originally similar. This corner pair, 42 and 44, appear to be in original condition, at least to the front. The others to the left have been more or less improved and extended.

War Memorial, Ashwell
Circa 1919 by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Portland stone. Tapering chamfered cross with stepped plinth, rectangular podium and circular steps. The 3-stage plinth has names of fallen inscribed.
