Vine Cottage, High Street, Great Offley
It is the brick building that is the oldest part, a Grade II listed timber-framed house built in the 17C or earlier and encased in brick in the 18C. The extension on the left was added in the late 19C and has timber stuck onto a rough-cast wall.

Great Offley: The Green Man
This is a Chef & Brewer pub and restaurant off the High Street. The 1892 Ordnance Survey map shows this as the Green Man so it has not succumbed to corporate re-branding. A photograph contemporary with that mapping shows another similar pitched-roof building, in what is now the car park, to the right of the pub.
