Old Knebworth: Houses
At Knebworth, there has been extensive housing development around the railway station, which offers a good service to Kings Cross and the City. This has left the original Knebworth village, over a mile to the west, much less developed. This part is now known as Old Knebworth. The houses in this photo. may have formerly been a school.

Old Knebworth: Road junction
The photographer stands in Old Knebworth Lane, which here makes a T-junction with Park Lane to both left and right. To the left leads to Knebworth station, just over mile away. Right lies the rest of Old Knebworth village, including the 'Lytton Arms'.
