Ebeneezer Court, North Road, Hertford
Ebeneezer Court,North Road, Hertford. Although only about ten years old the appearance of this building is strangely redolent of the 1930s "International Style" of architecture popularised by Gropius, Le Corbusier and other continental architects. The spire in the background belongs to St Andrew's church

Mural, Hertford
Walking along North Road, I came to an abandoned petrol station, but on the far wall was this lovely life-affirming mural, showing the many uses of water - boating, canoeing, fishing, cycling or walking along the bank, or just sitting by the water enjoying it all. I don't know who painted it, but, thank you.

Going for a Ruby
This is "Ruby" An Indian Restaurant of course. Ruby Murray was before my time, and I couldn't tell you anything she sang, but her immortality is ensured through rhyming slang.
