Ornate railings beside the New River in London Road, Ware
These ornate railings beside the New River, which can be glimpsed to the right, are frequently damaged by cars, From time to time one will even go right through them and finish up in the river. This is the latest damage to them.

New fencing beside the New River in London Road
This stretch of ornate cast iron fencing beside the New River in London Road, Ware had to be replaced after a car smashed through it and plunged into the river. All of the fence components had to be specially cast.
The railings and posts are shown in primer but the base sections are rusty and still unpainted.
