Widford Skyline
A view of the church and neighbouring farm taken from below in the Ash valley.The ground rises steeply up to the back of the church yard, but can be negotiated by the steps cut into the bank.

Widford church, seen from below
Widford church stands high on a ridge - Widfordbury - overlooking the valley of the River Ash. By Hertfordshire standards the drop from the church down to the valley bottom is a pretty sharp one. The steep slopes are grazed by cattle.
