Reduce Anti-Social Vehicle usage in Buntingford Town

The East Herts Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team has dealt with a number of incidents of nuisance or unlawful driving, including arrests for suspected drink or drug driving.
The team has also engaged with partner agencies around road safety measures in particular roads. This work is on-going.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team has conducted additional patrols in these areas to address issues. Officers have conducted vehicle checks and other investigations into vehicles of interest. The Police and Crime Commissioner's speed safety van has also conducted speeding operations in the area, including Tower Hill. Fly-tipping incidents have been identified and investigations made into people riding quadbikes anti-socially.
This work continues.
