Crossroads, Little Hadham
The busy A120 crosses right and left, enjoying a heavy bias on the traffic light intervals. Straight ahead is 1 Ashe Cottages, in a block of three, a grade II listed building. Reversing the modern combining trend for old cottages, this was originally one late 17th century house, Ashe Farm.

Waiting at the Lights at Little Hadham
I always think how much older the house (see the date on it) is than the traffic lights.

Junction of Hadham Road and Stortford Road
The traffic lights here appear to first let traffic from the left and then the right. I didn't time it but pretty sure I waited longer than five minutes, probably some time more, but was definitely the longest I'd ever waited at traffic lights in my whole life. There is a sign long delays possible, it makes you wonder why they don't simply rephase the lights instead.
