Green in Kingsholm Gardens, Eltham
The estates built either side of Rochester Way in Eltham were provided with a number of greens to give more of a feeling of space. In places, though, houses have since been built on parts of these greens. The white bungalows seen in Kingsholm Gardens here are very ugly and box-like and spoil the symmetry of the green, which continues on the other side of them. The wooded slope in the distance is Shooters Hill.
