Eltham Cemetery: fish pond
This must be the most pleasantly landscaped cemetery I know. This is the crematorium end, with areas for interment of ashes separated by lawns and pleasantly meandering paths, plus trees, flowers and plants, and this pond.
Probably because no-one would be so bold as to wield a fishing rod here, the carp grow pretty big.

Landscaped gardens at Eltham Crematorium, Falconwood
The Crematorium opened in 1956. The gardens are beautifully maintained; suitably secluded in many distinct areas, ideal for grieving relatives to feel, perhaps, that they are not in one huge expanse of grass and flowerbeds. There are some quite large Koi Carp swimming in the pool.
