Bridge on Evelyn Street, SE8
The bridge now carries the road over ... nothing. It originally crossed the Surrey Canal, but now the whole area here west of the river has been built over - see http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm?lat=51.48611734696907&lon=-0.03538072691145357&gz=18&oz=8>=1.

Evelyn Court, Grinstead Road
The office block is named after Evelyn Road on the other side of it, which in turn is named after one of Deptford's most famous sons. The "offices to let" notice is a sign of the 2009 recession.
