Deptford Bridge - station extension
The pavement in the foreground is the edge of the present Deptford Bridge carrying the A2 across the River Ravensbourne. A historic location, as the Cornish Rebels were defeated on this site in 1497. In the background, the DLR station is being extended for 3-car trains.
