Warning of delays
A solar-powered traffic sign on Creek Road. Traffic management around Greenwich town centre for the Olympics / Paralympics included making a clockwise one-way system around Greenwich High Road / Norman Road / Creek Road; this had the knock-on effect of long delays on the main road through Deptford approaching Greenwich. Photographed here in the evening when the traffic was light.

London Marathon 2014 passes Deptford
This view of the 2014 London Marathon was on Creek Road just past the seven mile mark as runners passed Deptford Church Street. Weather conditions on this sunny, mild and windless day were perfect and a new course record was set.
