Crossfield Street, Deptford SE8
St Paul's Anglican Church, Deptford across Crossfield Street. This church in Portland Stone is regarded by many as one of London's finest Baroque parish churches. It was designed by Thomas Archer - who also designed St John's Smith Square and Birmingham Cathedral - and was built between 1712-30 when Deptford, was still part of Kent.

Bridge over Deptford High Street
The bridge carries the North Kent Railway Line over the High Street - the line continues west to Deptford Station. This whole line from London Bridge runs on the London Bridge – Greenwich Railway Viaduct which consists of a series of nineteen brick railway viaducts linked by road bridges of which this is one.

Deptford station, SE8
In Deptford High Street, opened in February 1836.
The line from London terminated here until the extension to Greenwich in 1836.
Deptford is officially London's oldest passenger only railway station.
