London cycle route 28 to Crystal Palace
The sign may mean this is the way to the cycle route. In any case a rather unsatisfactory bit here - cycles have to be pushed up pedestrian steps to get over the railway. A wheel groove is provided.

Sign for River Pool Linear Park
There has been a riverside path through the greenery alongside the Pool for many years, but only recently has it been given a name as shown on this unpainted mild steel sign adjacent to the railway footbridge.

River Pool Linear Park sign
The section of the River Pool between the new bridge across the river by Sydenham SavaCentre and Catford is attractive and has natural-looking banks. It forms the central feature of the River Pool Linear Park. This view is looking from the bottom of the steps of the footbridge over the Hayes line and along the path which links Broadmead in Bellingham via the footbridge and then across the Pool to Winsford Road in Sydenham.
