Charlton Road bridge
The bridge carries Charlton Road (the B210) over the A102 dual carriageway, built in the 1970s. The photographs was taken on a Sunday morning when the traffic was light, though it is normally a busy road.

New fences on Charlton Road bridge
These high fences on either side of the bridge had just appeared in the previous few days. The reason for them is unclear: I am not aware of any accidents or suicide attempts at this location. The wider cycle lanes had also only been added this month. Compare Image for a "before" picture.

Mock Tudor houses in Craigerne Road, Blackheath
Tucked away down a quiet side road, these three strange houses grab the attention when they are seen. Although quite tall and wide, they appear to be only one room deep. In a way they remind me of the houses in Clarence Place, Gravesend http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1945373

Blackheath Working Man's Club
It's a local joke that this is the working man's (not men's) club and therefore there's only one man in Blackheath doing real work.
