Cycle rack outside the Royal Standard post office
One of these two bicycles is in fact permanently parked to advertise a local business. The postbox indicates the location of the sub post office in a local newsagents.

De La Mare Court
A housing development begun at the end of 2009 Image on the site of a former petrol station, and completed c.2011. The name is that of a local family (Abraham De La Mare was Rector of St Thomas's church in Charlton in the 19th century) but there may be some other connection.
