William Temple Church, Eynsham Drive
An Anglican church built in 1966.
William Temple was Archbishop of Canterbury in the 1940s.
The church website https://www.achurchnearyou.com/church/842/page/1568/view/ has quite a bit about him, including the following little known fact: "He was the second son of Archbishop Frederick Temple (making him, thus far, the only Archbishop of Canterbury who was themselves the son of an Archbishop of Canterbury) "
There is also information about the building. Another quote: "The stained glass windows were made from glass salvaged from a bombed out church in Surrey docks. "

Crossrail is coming
This is the view from the bridge carrying Eynsham Drive over the North Kent Line looking towards Abbey Wood station which is beyond the footbridge from Bostall Manorway. Some realignment of the tracks can be seen in readiness for the two new Crossrail tracks for the South-east section which will terminate at Abbey Wood.
