Lake at Crossway Park
Hidden away between the western boundary of Crossness Sewage Treatment Works and housing on the eastern edge of Thamesmead, I suspect many people in the area do not know of the existence of this northern extension of Crossway Park. I did not until I stumbled across it. The park used to be a golf course which is apparent from aerial photographs.

Submerged trees in a lake at Crossway Park
Hidden away between the western boundary of Crossness Sewage Treatment Works and housing on the eastern edge of Thamesmead, I suspect many people in the area do not know of the existence of this northern extension of Crossway Park. I did not until I stumbled across it. The park used to be a golf course which is apparent from aerial photographs. The trees give the impression this lake is seasonal although it does appear on aerial photographs.
