Bottom of Tulse Hill, Tulse Hill
The easternmost section of Tulse Hill forms part of the Tulse Hill gyratory, the junction of the A204 and A215 with the A205 South Circular road. Seemingly unusually, it is the area at the bottom of Tulse Hill which takes its name from the hill, presumably because this was the name given to the railway station at this location. The imposing Tulse Hill Hotel (right) is presumably named after the road.

North end of Norwood Road, Tulse Hill
The northernmost section of Norwood Road forms part of the Tulse Hill gyratory, the junction of the A204 and A215 with the A205 South Circular road. This section is one way for most traffic, but with a contraflow bus lane (extreme left) to enable northbound buses to get through the junction without having to go around three sides of the gyratory.

Tulse Hill
This is recognised as the central part of the district of Tulse Hill, but it is in a valley bottom. The road of the same name follows the valley bottom towards Herne Hill to the right.
