Dulwich Wood House, Sydenham Hill
A regular entrant in the CAMRA Good beer guide. Built in the mid 19th century as a private dwelling, by Joseph Paxton (builder of the Crystal Palace). A pub since 1880. Names after the nearby woodland.

Victorian Gothic
One of the surviving Victorian mansions that once lined Sydenham Hill. Most of these were built when the area developed once the Crystal Palace was moved to its new site in 1854. This survivor is opposite the Dulwich Wood House in Crescent Wood Road and is shown on the 1914 OS edition as being called Lyncombe.
