Freight Through Norwood
A class 33, 33047 brings a short mixed freight through Norwood Junction on a damp December day. On the left is Norwood Junction Signal Box - a standard Southern Railway brick and concrete design. The lighting towers behind the train are at Selhurst Depot - It's so gloomy, perhaps they should be on?

Norwood Junction station
Looking south. Southern Railway's 'Electrostar' Class 377 units are really intended for express and outer-suburban workings, but are sometimes found on purely local services as well. Here, one of these excellent units runs into Norwood Junction station on an all-stations Caterham to London Bridge working.
