View southward on the Up Main platform. This is the ex-SE&CR junction of the lines from London Victoria with those from Blackfriars and Holborn Viaduct, also King's Cross St Pancras etc. via the Metropolitan Widened Lines, to SE London suburbs and Kent via Bromley South and Chatham. These trains go to the left, while to the right the lines run via Tulse Hill (jointly with the ex-LB&SCR) to Wimbledon via Streatham and to Croydon via Crystal Palace. In modern days (1994 - 2007) Herne Hill has also been on the Eurostar International route from London Waterloo to Paris and Brussels - see Image
