No external hint of which particular variety of religion it supports, but it appears to still be in use.

St George, Perry Hill - new church
The previous church on this site was demolished in 1999 due to severe structural problems. The new church to the designs of Thomas Ford & Partners was opened in 2004. More information on the parish website http://www.stgeorgechristchurchstpaul.net

Near the top of Perry Hill: Church
The foundation stone reads 2004, so this is a rare example to show that a modern building does not have to be rubbish, but can be pleasant to the eye. There is even a small 'peace garden' where one can sit outside, which I took advantage of for a few minutes on a warm day. The door of the church was open, an unusual welcome these days. The full name of the church is 'St George, Christ Church, St Paul'. This is clearly the sort of establishment that does the Church of England credit.

Altar of St George's church
Compare this with the view in Image As well as the close-up showing the nine saints in the smaller stained glass windows, a broken cross is used in the season of Lent (leading up to Good Friday when Christians remember the death of Jesus).
