Not sure what this is about. It's a bit bizarre, but it's not my house so move on I suppose.

East Dulwich: Lordship Lane Post Office
Looking across the main Lordship Lane towards this suburban post office, which has had a variety of sites over the years. There was a branch called Lordship Terrace which was replaced by 'Lordship Lane', at no.351, on 1 February 1900. This was replaced by an office 'Woodwarde Road' on 4 May 1920, which in turn was replaced by another Lordship Lane office in December 1945, this time at no.342. It moved to the present premises on 24 October 1996. Meanwhile there was another office, further down and called 'Lordship Lane, near Station' from 2 March 1874 until it was replaced by a second 'Lordship Lane' office at no.499 on 2 January 1924, which closed in 2001. The main post office, north of here, also has a postal address of Lordship Lane (no.76) but the branch name is East Dulwich.

The Plough, Dulwich
The Plough is an historic pub: for many years the number 12 bus route from central London gave "Dulwich, Plough" as its destination. There was public opposition when the pub was renamed trendily as the "Goose and Granite" c.2002, and within a few years it had reverted to its original name.
