Camberwell Old Cemetery
Originally meadow land, this was part of the second wave of mid-19th century cemeteries aimed at solving the problem of overcrowding in London's churchyards. The first interment took place on 3 July 1856.

Honor Oak Baptist Church, Forest Hill Road, SE22
This is a Grade II Listed Building, on the corner of Mundania Road. It is undergoing conversion into 14 residential units. There will still be a church within the complex. As buildings like this become ever more expensive to maintain but often with dwindling congregations to support their upkeep and justify the continued presence of a church on the site, compromises like this have to be made.
