All Saints being rebuilt
All Saints church on Rosendale Road, one of the largest churches in London, was virtually destroyed by fire in 2000 but has been completely rebuilt (allegedly the largest insurance claim ever paid out on a church). Photographed here towards the end of the rebuild; it reopened in March 2006.

All Saints, Rosendale Road
A very imposing church, by Fellowes Prynne in 1887-91. It was restored in 1952 by J.B.S. Cromper after being badly damaged in the Second World War. Cromper also added the tower. Grade I listed.
Views of the church are somewhat compromised by modern housing.

All Saints Church, West Dulwich
The Church of All Saints on Lovelace Road, West Dulwich. The church was built in the late 19th Century, but lack of funds meant that its western end was not completed. It remained in this unfinished state for over a century, until the building was gutted by fire in 2000. Only the walls remained. The church was restored, and the opportunity was taken to complete the western end of the building in a modern style, contrasting with the rest of the building.
