Houses on Samos Road, SE20
Each house was divided into several flats. At the time I lived in the top floor flat of the near house on a short, 6-month lease; it had no central heating, but after a run of mild winters I thought I could take the chance of one winter with only a couple of bar heaters. Needless to say in 1990/91 the sequence broke with London's hardest winter for some time.

At this point, Witham Road (behind the camera) changes its name to Warwick Road, so here we are looking south west into Warwick Road. The road signs can be seen on the left.
