93-101 Blackfriars Road
Not a very interesting (1970s?) office block, I can't remember why I bothered to photograph it. This stretch of Blackfriars Road is strange - bitty, incoherent and oddly quiet given its proximity to both Elephant and Castle, and the South Bank.

A flamboyant Victorian pub, not listed and missed or ignored by Pevsner. The flourish in the gable must surely be unappreciated by almost everyone.

Blackfriars Road, SE1 (2)
Looking towards the junction with The Cut and Union Street. The railway bridge carries trains between Charing Cross and London Bridge stations. The offices that overhang are the London Development Agency at 197 Blackfriars Road.
