Former Superintendent's House, Leda Road
Formerly attached to the naval dockyard. A very handsome Georgian house of seven bays, the central three brought forward under a pediment. It is crowned by a prodigious clock tower, rather out of proportion with the rest of the building. Such features were normally associated with late C17th or early C18th houses but this was built in 1778-84. Grade II listed. Nowadays it is home to the Clockhouse Community Centre.
