Looking down into the valley of a brook which now seems to be entirely covered over, but there are several street names betraying its existence. The specific name of the brook, if it had one, has so far eluded me.

Former school, Woolwich
On Plumstead Common Road, built 1881 according to the inscription. A curious lop-sided design, probably because of the steep hill. A grade II listed building, listed as 'Fox Hill Junior School'. When mapped shortly after its construction, it was called a 'High School'.
