Lorrimore Road
The name comes from the fact that this was at the south-west edge of the former Lorrimore (or Lower-moor) Common which was enclosed in 1769. The restored terrace seen here dates from 1852. The church in the distance is St Wilfrid's, a Roman Catholic church dating from 1915.

Lorrimore Square
Lorrimore Square dates from c1856 and gets its name from the fact that it was built at the south-west edge of the former Lorrimore (or Lower-moor) Common which was enclosed in 1769. Only one side from the original mid-19th century housing of Lorrimore Square survives and that is seen here. On the right are the railings of St Paul's Church - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2706637
