The old and the new
These former shops in Manor Place, Kennington do not appear to be long for this world. On the left in the distance is the new Strata residential block at the Elephant and Castle, completed in June 2010.

The shops here have been boarded up for some time in this rather lurid shade. Apparently the block belongs to Southwark Council but is currently offered for sale.
