St Peter's Walworth: the "Monkey Garden"
The name of this garden on the north side of the church derives from when a 19th century Rector set up a menagerie in the churchyard with monkeys, owls and other animals. It was remodelled as a community garden circa 2005 but no longer contains any live exhibits.

St Peter's Walworth: south side
The classic view of St Peter's is of the west portico and tower Image You can see from this view of the south side that the rest of the building is much plainer, in the Georgian style sometimes referred to scathingly as a "preaching box".
