Construction site off Needleman Street
The site is to the north-west of Needleman Street and was being developed as part of RevitaliSE16. The use of long augurs (to the left and right of the photo) implies deep piled foundations and therefore a tall building to come. Beyond the construction site is the low roof of the Canada Water bus station.

Canada Water, Jubilee Line platforms
The Jubilee Line's adventure south of the Thames calls at Canada Water (taking its name from the redundant dock above), a station that allows an interchange with the London Overground. It can be very busy and crowded. Glass barriers prevent anyone falling on to the track. When the train stops its doors are aligned with the doors in the barrier; they open and close together. The view is towards the westbound platform, destination Stanmore via London Bridge, Waterloo, Westminster, and Baker Street. Eastbound trains turn north to Stratford East via Canary Wharf.
