Bermondsey Spa gardens, northern entrance
Bermondsey never had a spa in the usual sense of a medicinal spring. The "gardens" date from the 1700s, created by artist Thomas Keyse and famed for their fireworks and concerts. The 4.5-acre (18,000 m2) park was redeveloped in 2006 at a cost of £2 million. I am unsure of the point of these concentric circles in the landscaping as there is nothing in particular at the centre.
