St James's Cottage, 41 New Cross Road SE14
Listed grade 2 (list entry number 1079965). Described as a "Mid C19 villa of 2 tall storeys and basement". The name is significant: St James's parish (to which it presumably relates) was created in 1845 and its church Image opened in 1854, but the nearby church of All Saints Image, whose parish it now lies in, was built in 1869-71, so I guess the cottage can be dated between those end dates.
