Bermondsey Spa gardens, western entrance
Bermondsey never had a spa in the usual sense of a medicinal spring. The "gardens" date from the 1700s, created by artist Thomas Keyse and famed for their fireworks and concerts. The 4.5-acre (18,000 m2) park was redeveloped in 2006 at a cost of £2 million.

Entrance to former Alaska factory
The gate, dated 1869, has a seal on the pediment, originally the principal source of skins for the fur processing factory. The factory building beyond, in a distinctly different architectural style, was built in the 1930s, by which time the firm had become a more generally sourced skin and fur processor. It is now flats. Oddly, neither structure has the benefit of being a listed building.
