This new public open space was completed in September 2007. It was developed in partnership with residents, Lewisham Council, Building Design Partnership, Skanska, the Environment Agency, London and Quadrant Housing Trust and Tower Homes. By September 2009 the blue hoardings around the northern part of the site, seen in this photo, proclaimed that a leisure centre is to be built there.

View from Platform 1, Lewisham station
