Boone's Chapel: front
Boone's Chapel was a private chapel built c.1682, probably to the designs of Robert Hooke (a pupil of Wren), for Christopher and Mary Boone, who were eventually buried there. It was restored by the Blackheath Historic Buildings Trust in 2004-2008 and is now open on Open House Weekend and a few other occasions each year. This is the frontage of the chapel seen from across Lee High Road.
