Former Magistrates' Court, Tooley Street
A bit gawky, but an interesting design, the recessed centre containing a huge broken pediment. By J.D. Butler, 1904. Grade II listed. Local courts have been hit hard by government spending cuts - this one closed in 2013 and is destined to become a hotel, but in general they are difficult buildings for which to find new uses.
