Former Magistrates' Court, Tooley Street
A bit gawky, but an interesting design, the recessed centre containing a huge broken pediment. By J.D. Butler, 1904. Grade II listed. Local courts have been hit hard by government spending cuts - this one closed in 2013 and is destined to become a hotel, but in general they are difficult buildings for which to find new uses.

Bermondsey : "The Dixon" Hotel
The hotel is housed in the Grade II former Tower Bridge Magistrates Court and Police Station, built in 1906 to a design by architect John Dixon Hunt. More at this https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1385973. The court closed in 2013, to be converted into a hotel, named after the architect. As he was the architect to the Metropolitan Police there are numerous examples of his work in the London area, many of which have been converted to other uses as the buildings have become redundant.

Pommeler's Rest
"This Wetherspoon pub is the former Tower Bridge Hotel, and takes its name from the area's centuries-old connection with the leather trade. The earliest record of the word pommeler (one who pummels) was in c1450 and became associated with leather workers." From http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/home/pubs/the-pommelers-rest
