Traffic barrier, Meadowcourt Road
The barrier at the southern end of the road permits cyclists through but blocks motor traffic to prevent rat-running.

Lee Green Fire Station
Opened in 1906 with these two architecturally meritworthy elevations in the Arts and Crafts style this working fire station deserves its Grade II Listed Building status. Whether or not it is fit for purpose in the 21st century is open to debate. The road is the A20 Eltham Road.

Lee Green: MP?s office and Apostolic Church
The eastern corner of the Leegate Shopping Centre is occupied by the office of Bridget Prentice, MP for Lewisham East and on a Sunday morning the sound of band music emanates from the floor above, which houses the Christ Apostolic Church.

One of many erected in the early twentieth century to a standard design template by the London County Council, whose arms can just be made out on the front of the building.

Lee Green: puddles at Leegate
Rather uneven paving has led to puddles across the precinct of the Leegate Centre (see Image, although this is at the eastern end opening widely alongside the Eltham Road). The signage of the bookmaker Coral is reflected in one of them, while autumn leaf fall stands in a larger one.
