Archaeology on the site of Kentish Buildings (1)
A couple of peep holes in the hoardings around this site allowed a glimpse of the foundations of earlier buildings being studied by archaeologists before they were excavated for the foundations of the new development. See also Image, and Image for the buildings that used to be here.

Site of former Kentish Buildings (1)
A construction site after the demolition of the Kentish Buildings on Borough High Street Image that had been vacant for a few years. The site had been bought by Guy's Hospital, some of whose other buildings can be seen in the background. The buildings on the right are those on the north side of Newcomen Street. See also Image

Before I Die
A temporary art installation on a boarded up shop front on Borough High Street, in which people were invited to chalk up their thoughts on what they hoped to achieve in their lifetime. Answers ranged from the practical ("become a good physiotherapist") to the impossible ("rule the world") and several were unprintable.
