Former Beaufoy Institute, Black Prince Road
Built in 1907 to the designs of F.A. Powell, the materials brick and terracotta. After use by several educational establishments (a laboratory wing on the left dates from 1930), it has lain empty for at least ten years and is now on English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register. Grade II listed.
