Tower of St Mary's Newington
The second church of St Mary in Newington was built in 1876 to the designs of J Fowler. This church superseded the old parish church on Newington Butts, and was itself destroyed in World War 2. Only the tower and a small bit of adjacent wall remain and are listed grade 2 (list entry number 1385636). The tower had a clock with a single face on the south side, no longer working.
