Keep the Green in Greenwich
"Keep the Green in Greenwich" was the slogan on a poster at the far end of this small grassed area between Creek Road (left) and Bardsley Lane. I think it was a protest against a planning application for the site. Note the bus stop in the mid-distance which has been relocated further back from the junction with Norman Road, as a result of the junction being reconfigured the previous year Image

One of the few remaining industrial sites alongside Deptford Creek as the rest gets redeveloped for housing, ironically this one keeps in business by supplying concrete to all the residential developments, one of which (New Capital Quay) can be seen in the background.
