The Wightstone being broken up at Greenwich
There is a history to the break-up of this ship. The Wightstone was a 439 tonne aggregates ship built in 1967 and Registered at Portsmouth. She met a sudden end on 9 November 2000, when she hit a moored yacht in the River Medina on the Isle of Wight.
