Morden Wharf Road
The principal business in this road, according to websites, is Greenwich Distillers. But that is industrial distilling, not for drinkable spirits! The road name is a historic one, reflecting the ownership of much of the land in this area by Morden College Image The three-aisled building in the background is also seen from the other side in Image

A very tight bend on the Thames Path
A very sharp angle on the riverside path which forms part of both the 296 kilometre Thames Path, a National Trail for walkers, and route 1 of the National Cycle Network, an even longer cycle route which runs from Shetland to Dover.

Desperate security measures
If the security gate, window bars, CCTV and razor wire don't deter thieves, perhaps the polite notice about regular patrols will frighten them off! This is a secluded corner of the Thames Path alongside the Alcatel cable works in Greenwich.

Morden Wharf, ready for redevelopment
This building was previously anonymous Image but since being acquired by the property developers Cathedral Group in 2012 http://www.cathedralgroup.com/current-projects/morden-wharf/ it has acquired a bold new name Image The plan is to "Convert a disused riverside wharf factory into a unique events venue ... of a 5,000 capacity indoor entertainment area and a 10,000 capacity outdoor events space".

Morden Wharf
I could not work out whether this building at the western end of Morden Wharf Road is part of the adjacent Amylum site (Tunnel Refineries) or some other company. A site visitor has since told me that in the 1970s it was owned by a subsidiary of Associated Newspapers "probably so that they could receive and store paper relatively near the Fleet Street print rooms". It had become disused by 2012 and sold for redevelopment Image
